OUR STORY
THE START.
Jason Reid; Founder and CEO, an ex-semi professional hockey player, who spent his life on training fields and in hockey rinks dedicating hours to training and fitness. A career-ending injury forced him out of sports, but his passion for high performance training remained and he began a career as a personal trainer and nutritional specialist.
The initial beginnings of Flip Activ started in 2016 after Jason extensively researched into compression apparel and the benefits it provided. The innovative Idea was to combine the worlds of support and athleisure, with apparel that can be activated by the flip of a switch.
THE JOURNEY.
Although Jason understood the dynamics of health and fitness, he would require help building a team that would bring his high performance activewear vision to life. Through thick and thin, over the next 4 years funding from investors were established for product creation, testing and building out the FlipActiv roster. The foundation was built and it finally allowed the capacity and resources to be able to launch worldwide.

FlipActiv was born out of sacrifice, uncomfortable ground, and perseverance in an effort to bring something truly creative to the high-performance world. It is one of the reasons why our slogan is ‘Push Your Limits’. It is because we believe that any great success requires that an individual or group of people push their limits, pass the difficult moments and the challenges in order to take their ability and vision to the next level.
We honour the challenging moments when an athlete must push through what’s uncomfortable in order to reach new levels of performance and success, because we truly understand what that means. We value those moments and those people who are a part of them with the utmost respect. Because it’s in these moments that we grow and change forever; and to us these moments are timeless.
